The location is ideal, providing both tranquility and easy access to local cafes and shops. Clean and functional rooms, equipped with air conditioning and fast Wi-Fi, ensured that my stay was both comfortable and manageable, even allowing for work commitments. Neel, the host, stands out for his hospitality; He consistently offered assistance and local recommendations that enhanced our experience. The breakfasts, which featured a mix of Western staples and good Sri Lankan dishes, not only satisfied our appetites but also gave insight into local cuisine. With laundry services available and a shared kitchen to prepare snacks, guests can enjoy conveniences that add to the overall value. While it's not the most opulent experience, the warmth of Neel's hosting and the attention to detail make Butterfly Jewel an excellent choice for those seeking an authentic and economical stay on the island.
